CODEX Expands Its Operations in Custom Software Development

As part of its strategic growth and to strengthen its position in the field of tailor-made software solutions, CODEX has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of Visma Consulting. The transaction will be finalized upon receiving a positive opinion from the Competition Council.

Founded in 2015, Visma Consulting has established itself as a reliable partner in the development of digital solutions for the public sector. The company has delivered critical IT systems for institutions such as the State Land Service, The Register of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia, the Court Administration, and other public sector organizations.

Under the terms of the agreement, Visma Consulting will continue to operate with its existing team and serve its current clients, ensuring service continuity and quality. In the near future, the company's structure will be maintained, while creating the foundation for enhanced collaboration between teams and more efficient coordination of resources.

The aim of the acquisition is to strengthen CODEX Group’s expertise in the development of large-scale and technologically complex systems, as well as to foster synergy between teams. There are also plans to further develop business intelligence solutions initiated by Visma Consulting, which will become a significant part of CODEX’s service offering.
